4X Strategy Civilization 6 Historical Strategy Turn-based

CiV 6 is Sid Meier's turn-based strategy game, which will get its seventh part in just a few months. But that doesn't mean there is no news. On the contrary, these monthly challenges combined with a strong multiplayer base made the sixth part of this franchise the most played work in the last few months. The August monthly challenge is a little different from the previous ones. It is a "Redux" of previous challenges such as the Seven Seas, the Robot Revolution, Babylon's victory through science or Khmer's cultural dominance. These challenges have finally received “Deity” difficulty which is the biggest challenge in the game, and in addition they have introduced changes to the terrain itself to make these challenges as challenging as possible. In the first week of "Seven Seas", all units would burn 10 HP per turn on water. This even includes trading caravans and the challenge is much more complicated. At the same time, barbarians spawn twice as fast and you are in a constant dark era. Religious victory is recommended for the reason that the guru can always follow the apostles and counter the constant loss of helt across the ocean. And if you are lucky, some apostles will get the opportunity to turn all the barbarians nearby to their side.

Next week we are faced with the "Robot Revolution", which already sends many more robots and barbarians to our capital city. In addition, we are not able to buy any kind of civilians except builders and settlers. This made the game much more difficult, but with a good plan of placing new cities and districts it is possible to defend without difficulty. The key is to reach the first golden age and get your own indestructible robot that will allow you to free yourself from the barbarians forever and create the empire of your dreams on the icy island of the post-nuclear disaster.

The third week welcomes us with perhaps the biggest challenge so far. We must win by launching satellites into space before everyone else like Hammurabi of Babylon. The problem is that instead of the standard minus 50% of science, we get an incredible 99% less of both culture and science. Getting into the first form of government is very challenging and if you don't find a good starting position, you will have big problems. However, there are various ways to get around this problem. One of them is the use of spies. No matter how little science you have, if a spy steals technology from an opponent you have it all. And all that remains is for you to focus on production and launch satellites as soon as possible. If you have problems with launching a satellite into space, watch the following video:

And for the last week of the month, there is the Cultural Domination of the Khmer. But on “Deity” difficulty and without bonus resources this can become much more complicated than it seems at first glance. In addition to large cities that require a lot of luxurious resources, the problem is also the "Arid" map type, which does not leave many resources at all. It is recommended to focus on trade routes and economy at the start, because it is impossible to overcome the opponent only with the help of Theater and culture. You have to buy works from allies, and steal them from opponents with spies to have a chance to win. Watch how Canada nearly robbed the great Khmer of victory in this challenge in the video below.

Despite the arrival of the seventh part of the franchise, Firaxis is trying to occupy the fans as much as possible with new, now weekly challenges. Pay attention, because the month of September has just begun!
