by After two successful seasons of the BetBoom Dacha CS2 tournament, Fissure also organizes the BetBoom Dacha Dota 2 – Belgrade 2024 tournament, which started on October 19th and lasts until the end of the week of October 26th. This is the first Tier 1 Dota 2 tournament in Serbia! In the tournament, the 12 best teams in the world fight for a prize fund of an incredible million US dollars ($1,000,000).
The tournament is held in the Sava Center, and you have the opportunity to attend the playoff stage in the large Blue Hall of the renovated center. Online tickets are already largely sold out, but there is also the possibility of buying a ticket on the spot.
The format of the tournament is as follows:
- Group Phase – this phase of the tournament lasts from October 19 to 21. A round-robin system is played in both groups with 6 teams each. The matches are Bo2. The last 2 teams from both groups are eliminated, the other teams move on to the Playoff phase.
- Playoff Phase – this phase of the tournament lasts from October 23 to 26. The double elimination bracket is played. All matches are Bo3 while the final is Bo5. (on two or three won games)
If there is a tiebreaker between 2 teams, a Bo3 match will be played for the decision. If there is a tiebreaker between 3 teams, then everyone plays each other. If the situation remains unchanged, the game is repeated with everyone. If there is no resolution even after that, a 1v1 mini-tournament will be played between the teams.
