The Malaysian national team started its competition quite uncertainly. In the group stage, it barely fought for the second place in Group B by defeating the United States national team. In the playoffs, their first challenge was the Turkish national team, which gave them a lot of trouble by playing the second game in their favor thanks to the strategic choice of Hylos instead of Khaled. Hylos threw the opponent out of tact and enabled the Turkish team to quickly and efficiently dismantle the opposing heroes, who were the same as in the first game. In the third game, the captains decided to outsmart each other by stealing the so-called signature heroes. The Turkish national team kidnapped Hilda while the Malaysian captain took Hylos for himself, right after that the Turks kidnapped Valentina and the Malaysian team kidnapped Vexana. However, Gatokaca was the key to the Malaysians' strategy, and they should not have left it to the opponent to ensure their passage to the semi-finals in just 12 minutes.
There they were met by a very strong Indonesian national team, which is much better in terms of individual skills. The only chance for Malaysia to win is a good selection of heroes and a more efficient strategy in the game itself. This is precisely why the games were very fast and one-sided. The first game was the most equal and ended after 14 minutes, while the second game lasted less than 13 minutes. The decisive game was played in an incredible 10 minutes and the Malaysian team grabbed Hylos for the third time, who took them to victory and the grand final.

Now comes the toughest test of the tournament – the Philippine national team, which has not lost a game since the group stage. They played 2-0 in the group stage and one of the defeated teams was the Malaysian team. They didn't have any difficulties through the playoffs. They defeated the national teams of Argentina and Saudi Arabia without losing a game. They had one strategy that was very effective, but being dominant with one strategy means being the target of all other teams who sooner or later always find a counter. The strategy came down to Chou, Velentina, Phoveus combination which they used to pass through the teams without any problems. In the grand final, however, the Filipinos faced the best strategically savvy Malzeia team, which banned Chou in the first game, while in the second it eliminated Phoveus, completely eliminating the most effective Filipino combination. In the first game, they took almost all the best heroes for themselves: Hylos, Alpha and Valentina and easily overcame the favorites. In the second game, the Filipinos tried to ban Hylos, take away Gatogac and Valentino and prevent the Malaysian team from playing their best heroes. What they actually did was that they chose for their team heroes with whom they are not familiar enough to be able to achieve a good result in the final of the world championship, and after only 12 minutes, they lost the second game to the strategically skilled Malaysian national team, which also won the gold. took home $70,000.
The Filipinos had to settle for second place and $40,000, while the Indonesian team won bronze for their country and $20,000 for the team with their victory over Saudi Arabia. The prize for 4th place was $10,000, while the teams of Ukraine, Argentina, Turkey and Mongolia won $5,000 each.

The MVP of the tournament is the Malaysian mid-laner Hazik "Stormie" Rizvan, who led the team to victory with his play!

The last 8 teams left the tournament empty-handed.
