The International Esports Federation (IESF) announced that it will World Championship in Esports 2025 (WEC25) in the game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang to be held in Kuala Lumpur od December 1 to 7, 2025., in organization Malaysia Esports Federation (MESF).
Will participate in the tournament 20 nations and 28 national teams:
- 16 teams u MLBB Open division
- 12 teams u MLBB Women's division
The distribution of slots by continent was made for fair representation and balanced competition.
MESF President, Muhammad Naim Al Amin Bin Saharudin, said that Malaysia is proud to be the host and that the championship will leave a lasting legacy for esports in the country.
The General Secretary of the IESF, Boban Totovski, emphasized that the event will bring together 20 nations and 28 teams, and that it will set new standards while promoting the spirit of fair play.
Other official WEC titles will be held in first half of 2026, and the host and dates will be announced later.
