Tuesday, May 19, 2026, the Faculty of Maritime Studies, Kotor a lecture was held on the topic of success, business communication and emotional intelligence, attended by one of the representatives GamersLife.me.
The lecture was given to the students by a guest lecturer. Dr. Velibor Zolak, creative director and owner of the company AMC Communications, marketing manager, entrepreneur, political scientist, Master of Economics in the field of tourism and hotel management and Doctor of Science in the field of communication, media and culture.

The event was realized within the course Business communications in maritime affairs, at the initiative of the subject teacher Assistant Professor Ranke Krivokapić, PhD.
Through a presentation entitled "All we need is success!", Dr. Zolak introduced the students to the contemporary challenges of communication in a time of information overload, the "tyranny of choice" and the ever-increasing need for authenticity, emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills in the business environment.
Special emphasis is placed on understanding human behavior and decision-making methods. It was emphasized that success cannot be built solely on a rational approach, but that emotions, empathy, self-awareness and quality communication play a major role.
Speaking about emotional intelligence, Dr. Zolak pointed out the importance of self-control, motivation, empathy and social skills as important foundations of professional and personal development. Through concrete examples from the modern business world, students had the opportunity to see how emotions influence communication, leadership and decision-making.
The lecture took place in an interactive atmosphere, with great interest from the students present. It was especially emphasized that success requires a clear vision, discipline, commitment and perseverance, with the conclusion that they are dream, dedication, determination, discipline and effort key elements of any success.

Quality communication, teamwork, understanding the audience and the ability to manage emotions are important skills not only in the classic business environment, but also in contemporary creative and digital professions.
