The International Esports Federation (IESF) announced that five popular titles will be represented again in the 2025 season: Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, eFootball™ series, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang i PUBG MOBILE. This is the third year in a row that the same selection of games has been retained. According to the IESF, this decision emphasizes the continuity of competitive formats and the popularity of these titles among players and audiences around the world.

The 2025 season is characterized by participation 136 national associations that, within their jurisdictions, organize qualification tournaments. This number is expected to continue to grow, indicating the growing interest in esports and the IESF's role in connecting the esports community globally. Qualifiers are already taking place, with the winners from each country competing for a place in the final competitions under the auspices of the IESF.
Igor Nedeski, manager for esports at IESF, announced that cooperation with leading game publishers will continue this year as well. It is stated that the initial reaction of the players is positive and that a high level of competition is expected. During the year, additional educational and promotional events will be organized to ensure that as many players and teams as possible get the opportunity to progress and get involved in the esports scene.
