Herceg Novi, Montenegro (February 27, 2025) - Esports is growing rapidly, and in Montenegro, not only playing games, but also building careers related to them is eagerly awaited. To support this desire for competition and education, Gamers Life will now partner with NASEF (Global Network of Academic and School Esports Federations).

NASEF provides a framework and support for educators around the world as they create programs that connect students' love of video games and esports with exploration of various career paths, while developing important personal "soft skills" that will help youth succeed in today's work environment.

NASEF capitalizes on the tremendous student interest in team-based competitive video game play, offering meaningful education alongside tournaments in top titles. Students in NASEF clubs learn about the possible career opportunities, participate in creative and analytical challenges Beyond the Game, organize clubs, events and fundraisers, and compete in tournaments in popular games.

Milan Lalic, founder Gamers Life, said:
"During the two decades of Gamers Life's existence, we have witnessed the evolution of gaming from the pixelated charms of early consoles to the stunning realism and competitive depth of modern esports. Our mission is to use this excitement through the implementation of gamification in regular school classes and the promotion of the gaming industry through panels, workshops, tournaments and joint work. By partnering with NASEF, we can help young people across the Balkans and Europe to discover their passion for gaming and the numerous educational and career opportunities it brings.."

Gamers Life organizes Mimosa Fest, a video game festival that will take place on March 1 and 2 in Igalo, Herceg Novi. On the first day, visitors will be able to follow interesting panel discussions with experts from the IT and esports sector and representatives of teams and organizations, as well as an individual tournament in the FC25 game. On the second day, there will be a team competition with 8+ teams that will compete in the Dota 2 game.

"Research shows the effectiveness of esports as a tool for quality education", He said Gerald Solomon, founder and executive director of NASEF. "We are delighted that Gamers Life will cooperate with us and the Electronic Sports Association of Montenegro in educating adults and youth in the region about the power of esports and gamification."
