Budva will once again live to the rhythm of film and sports from September 18th to 21st. The third Budva Sports & Arts Film Festival (BSAFF) announces four days filled with exciting screenings, inspiring stories and encounters with sports legends.

"What I'm particularly proud of is the diversity and strength of these stories. It's proof that sports and film speak a universal language."

Miloš Todorović
Founder & Festival Director, Director

Interest has never been higher - as many as 1100 films arrived at the festival address from all over the world, and the 25 best were selected to compete for awards in front of the Budva audience.

This year's award for life's work will be given to seven sportsmen who marked epochs: basketball player Vlado Šćepanović, coach and sports worker Dragoljub Kopitović, volleyball star Vladimir Grbić, handball players Maja Savić and Maja Poljak, football legend Ljubomir Radanović and famous water polo player Goran Rađenović. Their presence gives the festival an additional dimension of inspiration and emotion.

But BSAFF does not stop at the film and awards. The organizers have also prepared two panel discussions where the role of sports in contemporary culture and the future of the film industry will be discussed. A special treat of this edition will be phygital basketball tournament – an innovation that combines physical play and digital technology. "I am sure that this new discipline will attract enormous attention, especially among young people", he says Todorovic.

With a combination of sports passion, film magic and a rich program, at the end of September Budva will become a place where tradition, art and innovation meet in one place.
