Montenegrin representatives achieved significant success at the Mediterranean Esports Games held in Benghazi, Libya.

Bojana Goranović won a bronze medal in the eFootball game, which represents the first historical medal for Montenegro in this competition format. In the semi-finals, they faced the host, the team of Libya, where after two tense matches, the second of which ended after seven series of penalties, 3-2, and so the overall ratio was 2-0 in favor of the hosts. Despite the defeat, winning third place is a huge success for Bojana and Montenegrin esports. Rade Pavićević will soon also fight in the eFootball discipline in the men's competition, and a lot is expected of him.





As for the game "Tekken 8" in the men's competition, Aldin Taljanović excelled with two convincing victories against the representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia, both times with a score of 3-0. He has two more rounds in front of him that will determine his further placement, where he will definitely try to get the best possible position in order to secure a medal. On the other hand, in the women's competition, Nevena Marković unfortunately lost in her first match, but her next performances are expected.

This kind of success shows the great potential of Montenegrin esports players on the international scene, and brings a new dose of optimism for future tournaments.
