Deseret Games Studio has released a new demo of its upcoming tactical JRPG game Aegis Force: The Scorian War, which is now available for PC players via Steam. This latest update provides a deep dive into the game's rich world, strategic combat, and morally complex story.

What does the demo bring?

  • Chapter One: Ruiner's Pass – Enjoy approximately 90 minutes of gameplay through the forested region of Ruiner's Pass, where players investigate the mysterious disappearance of a supply caravan. Tactical combat, exploration, and dialogue await you as you embark on a conflict that threatens the entire continent of Ianu.
  • Revised prologue and improved systems – The demo also includes a refreshed prologue with improved graphics, more precise controls and mechanical adjustments based on community feedback. Online tactical combat remains the core of the game, along with resource management and item collection.
  • Inspired by the classics, made modern – Inspired by games Final Fantasy Tactics i Shining force ii, Aegis Force combines retro charm with contemporary design, offering a strategic experience wrapped in a deep and morally challenging story. During the demo, players will recruit allies, face new threats, and uncover secrets that shape Ianua's destiny.
