Battlefield 6 open beta reaches historic peak on Steam – over 521 concurrent players, which represents the highest record in the series and clearly shows how much the game is attracting the attention of fans and the FPS community. The beta currently has about 4200 active players, with a daily high of about 4 and an all-time high of 521 players recorded on August 9, 2025.

A return to military roots?

Electronic Arts and DICE, now united under the name Battlefield Studios, presented the latest installment in the famous FPS series – Battlefield 6. After the poor reception of Battlefield 2042, the new game has a clear goal! To bring back the recognizable atmosphere of older titles, with classes and weapons, and without excessive futurism, but a more serious approach to simulating a realistic environment.
